Lina Majdalany, Ph.D., BCBA-D

 

Lina Majdalany graduated with a B.A., in Psychology in 2009 from American University in Washington DC. She later earned her M.S., in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2012, followed by her Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis in 2014 both from the Florida Institute of Technology.  In 2012 Lina Majdalany became a certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Lina Majdalany has published in multiple peer reviewed journal articles including the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavioral Interventions, The Analysis of Verbal Behavior, Journal of Behavioral Education, Behavior Analysis in Practice, International Journal of Behavior Analysis & Autism Spectrum Disorders. Lina Majdalany has also presented at many state and national conferences. Lina Majdalany has been working in the field for 13 years and is extremely passionate about the proper use and dissemination of ABA. Her primary expertise is in early intervention, intensive ABA, problem behavior, skill acquisition, verbal behavior, and parent training. She primarily has worked with children and young adults diagnosed with autism and other related developmental disabilities in a variety of settings (home, school, center). Lina Majdalany is now pursuing her passion to disseminate quality ABA services delivered by certified and qualified individuals in her community. In addition to her love for ABA and using it to help those in need to reach their greatest potential, she is just as passionate about the dissemination of evidence-based procedures to parents, teachers, caregivers, and frontline workers.
